There’s something about a photo that can take you somewhere else entirely. And with video, even just a few seconds of movement, a familiar voice, a laugh you haven’t heard in years, and suddenly you’re right back there.

I actually didn’t hire a wedding videographer for my own wedding, but my sister from Paris, who couldn’t come (Covid…), surprised me with a video from snippets of us FaceTiming throughout the day. I cannot tell you how much this meant and still means to me.

That’s what I want your wedding film to do.

I want you to be transported back to the moment we captured . I want your heart to ache a little. I want it to be impossible to hold back a smile, even when you’re watching the video for the millionth time.

I don’t just want to capture what your wedding looked like. I want to capture how it felt.

I want you to hear your parents welcome your partner to the family. I want you to see how you brought together all the people you love into one space. I want to capture the hugs and the little looks you give your family, your friends, and your love. The small touches. The silly faces and ridiculous dancing. The moments that sometimes feel insignificant, but are actually what make you, you.

Your wedding isn’t only about all the beautiful details, (don’t worry, I will absolutely obsesses over the perfect lighting, composition, and angles to capture them). But it’s also about you.

You. Your partner. Your people. Your personality. Your love. Your story. And I want to make sure that you are the main character. Not you playing a role in another episode of the same wedding film you’ve seen 100+ times.
